Oakland Steiner School has a Full K through 8 program. Our school enjoys an association with two

The school is located in Oakland County where we can enjoy all the
>seasons of Michigan with 11 county parks, numerous township parks and
>several state parks for hiking, picnicking, ice-skating, sledding,
>camping, boating, swimming, golfing, and biking. We also have
>convenient access to the cultural features of the Detroit Metropolitan
>Area, including nationally acclaimed symphony orchestras, art museums,
>and theatres.

Preferred candidates would have
>
Waldorf Teaching Certificate or equivalent
>
Waldorf teacher training and a deep commitment to Waldorf principles;
>
Prior classroom teaching experience;
>
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
>
The enthusiasm, energy and desire to be part of a developing school;
>
The willingness to cultivate effective parent-teacher communication
>and parent education;
>
The ability to participate in our active community life.
