Community School for Creative Education is a first-of-its-kind multi-lingual multi-cultural Waldorf-inspired and equity-focused elementary charter in East Oakland.

We opened August 2011 with 2 kindergartens and grades 1 -- 3. We will grow to become a preK 8 school by 2016,

We are looking for a state credentialed, energetic teacher for our 1st grade class. Competitive candidates show experience drawing from holistic teaching methodologies. They also show experience to support students to meet or exceed state standards Waldorf training or willingness to become Waldorf trained required. Spanish fluency desirable. This teacher will have the support of a fully Waldorf trained teaching assistant. Position available immediately
