Early Childhood Assistant

Swallowtail School is seeking and experienced Early Childhood Assistant to join our Preschool Program, currently serving 6 children ages 2 ½ to 4 years old. Daily tasks include classroom support, snack and classroom preparation, clean-up, playground supervision, and other duties as assigned by the lead teacher.

Qualifications:

Strong love of children
Working knowledge of Waldorf Pedagogy
Minimum experience of 2 years in an Early Childhood setting
Ability to hold a class of students independently
Prefer Waldorf Teacher Certification and/or Training
Ability to lift 50 pounds

Compensation: $10-$12 per hour depending on experience and training

Hours: 8:00am-2:00pm Tuesday through Thursday on school days
