Waldorf School of Louisville is seeking a teacher for our rising first grade class.

The Waldorf School of Louisville is a growing parent-child through 8th grade school. WSL is a developing school with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. We are currently hiring for a trained Waldorf Teacher or a teacher in Training, with considerable teaching experience.

WSL has a strong and professional parent base and a growing administrative pillar. We are located on a beautiful wooded campus close to health food stores and affordable neighborhoods. Louisville is an intersection of the Midwest and the South, a college town, and a cosmopolitan hub for the arts and outdoor life. In Louisville we have access to Foxhollow Biodynamic Farm, Kentahten Teacher training, and Anthroposophical medicine.

For the new teacher we provide a strong emphasis outside mentorship, a strong spirit collegial support and a developed mentorship program within the faculty. Our faculty work focuses on study, renewal and child study, while administrative work is done in our three councils. The next few years at Waldorf School of Louisville promise to be ones of much growth and development

Salary and benefits:

If you are interested, please email your resume and introductory cover letter with a short autobiography to Jennifer Sparks, Administrator (Jennifer.sparks@waldorflouisville.com). Please emphasize your Waldorf training, your teaching experience, and your connection to Anthroposophy.

Thank you.
