The Lake Champlain Waldorf School is accepting applications for a first grade class teacher position for the 2012-13 school year. This will be a large class and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher with Waldorf class teacher training.

Our school was founded in 1984, is a full member of AWSNA, serves students from early childhood through grade 12, is approved by the State of Vermont Department of Education and is well established. We currently serve 267 students. Our community is vibrant and engaging. We have 37 salaried members of our Faculty-Staff, the majority of whom have been employed at our school for many years.

Our grade school is located in Shelburne, Vermont, which is a wonderful place to live and raise children. It is beautiful, with the Green Mountains to the east and Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks to the west. Shelburne is approximately 6 miles south of Burlington, Vermont. The area has a major University, several colleges, and is a cultural and artistic center.
