Founding Class Teacher - Wales, UK
Dec 05 2011 | Cardiff Steiner School | Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom
Class 1/2 Teacher & Class 3/4 Teacher
Starting September 2012, Salary £16,000 - £20,000
Cardiff Steiner Early Years Centre is a thriving city centre Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales in the UK. We currently have two busy kindergartens with 32 children aged 3 to 7, and eight Parent and Toddler groups for over 100 children aged 0-3 both at the Centre and in local communities around Cardiff.
We are opening a vibrant Steiner School offering a living Steiner curriculum in September 2012, and are in advanced negotiations to secure new premises to accommodate our long term growth.
We are looking for two committed and motivated people, with the ability to relate to and inspire children, to become our founding Class Teachers with our first children in two combined classes, a Class 1/2 and a Class 3/4. The classes will comprise both children moving up from our Kindergartens, and former Kindergarten children and other children transferring in from mainstream and home education.
It's an exciting opportunity to get in right at the beginning - to pioneer, and be an integral part of the important growth of Steiner Education in Wales’ capital city.
