Educational Co-Director

The Novato Charter School, a K-8 Waldorf-inspired public school, is entering its 16th year of operations and is now a recognized and successful educational institution. The position of Educational Co-Director is a new one, full time, and part of an intentional organizational change to take on the mantle of a more mature school. The Educational Director provides leadership to our Faculty, working in close collaboration with the Operational Co-Director and CFO and reporting to the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
California Teaching Credential and Graduate Degree
Extensive experience and training in Waldorf educational methods and classroom experience as a Waldorf teacher
Experience in a leadership role
Demonstrate ability to implement short and long term plans
Areas of Responsibility
Oversee Academic Program
Faculty Recruiting, Mentoring & Support
Student Support, Discipline
Oversee Special Education Department
Parent Support & Parent Education
Compensation and Benefits
