The Denver Waldorf School is looking for a Waldorf-trained class teacher to teach next year’s 2012-2013 first grade children and to carry them through the eighth grade. We are seeking a colleague with an enthusiasm for and commitment to teaching a full Waldorf grades curriculum. Waldorf training and a growing relationship to Anthroposophy are required, and previous teaching experience is preferred.

DWS, a friendly and lively urban preK-12 school with over 300students, is located in one of Denver’s oldest tree-lined neighborhoods with the splendor of the Rocky Mountains just a short trip away. Founded in 1974, we are a fully accredited full member school of AWSNA and WECAN. Our first grade pulls from three thriving, fully enrolled pre-school/kindergarten classes.

We offer a salary range of $38,000 – 42,000 based on qualifications and experience. We offer full benefits, including retirement, medical and dental, disability, and tuition remission for eligible dependents. Opportunities for ongoing professional development are strongly supported.
