We are currently seeking a Waldorf-trained teacher to lead a Grade One class through to Grade 8. Candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree and Waldorf Teacher Training.

Salary: 2011/12 $42642 (base +completed Waldorf teacher training +increase based on years of experience)

The school year 2012-13 marks the fifth year for our high school, so we now serve children from Pre-K through Grade 12. The Waldorf School of San Diego is celebrating its 30th year in service to the community. We have two kindergartens and two nurseries which aid in the healthy enrollment of future grades. We are also pleased to have a solid and energetic administration. With the strong support of our parents, the operation of the school is guided by the faculty which includes specialty teachers for music, games, strings, foreign language, handwork, woodwork, gardening, choir and eurythmy.

Our school is located in a diverse neighborhood, close to the city and beaches, and not too far from the mountains. The school is perched on a hill with a view of Mount Miguel. In the winter months, snow-capped peaks are visible to the East. Mexico and the coast are visible to the South. The climate is mild all year long with day time temperatures averaging in the 70’s.
