Kindergarten Assistant

The Ithaca Waldorf School is seeking a Kindergarten assistant for a full-day, mixed- aged Kindergarten class for the 2012-2013 academic year. Our Kindergarten program runs from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm for children ages 3 to 6 years.
Waldorf Early Childhood training and Waldorf school teaching experience is preferred but not required for this position. Additional qualities we are seeking include: a strong singing and music ability, dedication to working with colleagues, a sense of warmth and humor, and enthusiastic participation in school festivals.
The Ithaca Waldorf School is recognized by AWSNA as a developing Waldorf school. We offer professional development funds, health insurance, and faculty tuition assistance. Please visit us at ithacawaldorf.org.
