The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is seeking a First Grade Teacher for the 2012-2013 school year. The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is celebrating its 27th year of teaching excellence on the beautiful Cape. Our school is located on a beautiful 13.5 acre site in the quaint village of Cotuit. Located ninety minutes our from Boston, the Cape is an idyllic setting to raise children with ocean, bays, lakes and woods to explore for miles in all directions. Our school was founded in 1974 and offers a PreK-8 Waldorf education, as well as Parent-Child programs. Our current enrollment is 105 students and we are taking root and growing. We have a highly supportive and involved parent community. Through strong collegial collaboration, grounded in a solid commitment to Waldorf education, our faculty greatly enjoys their work together out of a strong consensus model.

Desired qualifications for this grade school teaching position include a Bachelors or Masters Degree, a Waldorf School Teaching Certification and prior teaching experience. The school will consider an applicant currently enrolled in a teacher training program.
