Join the Model for Public Waldorf Education in 2012-13
Jan 05 2012 | Novato Charter School | Northern California
We are an established, distinguished, effective, and financially-sound Waldorf-methods public charter school expecting to have 1 or 2 teaching positions available in 2012-13. This is a unique opportunity to join the Faculty in what many hail as a model for Waldorf education in a public school setting.
This opportunity is only for experienced Waldorf-trained teachers who possess a broad education in the arts and sciences, with at least a BA/BS degree, a California Multi-Subject Teaching Credential and excellent classroom management and communication skills. Most importantly, they must be passionate about providing an uncommon, excellent and holistic education to children.
In addition to offering a working environment that allows artistic expression and creativity, the freedom to develop teaching approaches which meet the needs of the whole child, and that provides strong support to its teachers, the Novato Charter School offers a competitive salary, additional increments for teaching experience and academic and professional credentials, excellent benefits, and ongoing professional development and mentoring.
Please send us a letter explaining why you’d like to join our school, along with your resume, a copy of your CA teaching credential and three references, to Rachael Bishop, Director at rbishop@nusd.org, or mail to the address below.
