The Waldorf School of Baltimore is seeking an experienced Waldorf trained class teacher for the first grade for the 2012-2013 school year. We are looking for someone whose love for children is complimented by their ability to work well with colleagues and parents.

The Waldorf School of Baltimore has been serving the community since 1971 and has been a full member of AWSNA since 1985. Our beautiful campus is located in northern Baltimore City, on a wooded hillside adjacent to a large arboretum. The school reflects the diverse nature of its community, drawing students from urban, suburban and rural areas. Our program is offered in a new building overlooking the city with its many cultural activities.

We offer competitive salaries based on education and experience and our benefit package includes medical and dental coverage, partial tuition remission, a 403(b) retirement program and financial support for teacher education. We also offer a mentoring program and strong supportive collegial relationships.

We are interested in candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; have completed their Waldorf teacher training or are currently enrolled in a Waldorf teacher training program; and have class teaching experience.
