Parent Child Program-Lead Teacher

The Upper Valley Waldorf School located in Quechee, Vermont is seeking a Waldorf trained and experienced Lead Teacher to work one day with a parent-child group. We have a well-established early childhood program including Parent-Toddler groups, one three-day Nursery, and two mixed-age Kindergartens. We have a beautiful faculty-designed early childhood building to house these classes with individual classroom outdoor spaces, as well as a full outside playground with gardens.

We are a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade School with a current enrollment of 153 for the 2013-2014 school year. We offer a rich Waldorf curriculum, along with faculty members who represent a full spectrum of life experiences combined with their strength as Waldorf educators. Our school is a developing member of AWSNA. There are five other Waldorf schools within two hours drive, as well as the New England Waldorf Teachers Training Program at Antioch in Keene, NH, and the Rudolf Steiner Institute in Easton, MA, all of which provide ample opportunity for continuing education, conferences and cultural events.

The parent body is supportive, well informed and involved. Our Board is strong and enjoys a supportive, collaborative relationship with the Faculty. Our school has a strong culture of community spirit and collaboration.
