Upper School Chemistry Teacher
Full-Time Position, Beginning Fall 2017 

Position:  The Rudolf Steiner School seeks a colleague to join the science department who brings experience and enthusiasm for teaching chemistry and related mathematics courses. The core of this position includes teaching chemistry main lessons, electives, and labs in grades 7-12. The position also includes mathematics teaching in the same grades.

Strong candidates will possess a degree in chemistry or a related science and will have teaching experience, ideally in a Waldorf high school. As a member of the Upper School faculty, the science teacher must be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues on a daily basis and in regular departmental, area, and all-school meetings.  Additional responsibilities include advising students, travelling with classes on school trips, and continuing professional development.
