PE and Games Teacher

Seattle Waldorf School is now accepting applications for a Physical Education/Games Teacher to work with 2nd-8th Grade students on our Meadowbrook Campus for the 2017-18 school year. This position is part time but has the potential to grow with the addition of administrative duties associated with extra-curricular athletics and/or teaching assignments on other SWS campuses.

This instructor is responsible for creating and maintaining outdoor learning spaces (where activities are taught) and planning and delivering the physical education/games curriculum in alignment with the developmental needs of the students at each grade level. Candidates should have experience in teaching elementary and middle school aged students in a Waldorf environment. Bachelor’s degree required, Waldorf certification preferred.

Compensation
The salary for this position depends on experience. This position is benefit eligible.
