We are gathering letters of interest for a possible part-time position in math and physics for middle and high school. We are anticipating the need for additional teaching staff due to enrollment growth. This position will include skills classes, as well as block-style, main lesson courses. Ideal candidates are Waldorf-trained teachers with a Bachelor’s degree, and at least two years of teaching experience. Applicants must be dedicated to excellence in teaching and recognize the importance of clear parent communication and collegial cooperation.

Founded in 1984 as Merriconeag, Maine Coast Waldorf School now serves over 250 children from parent/toddler through high school. We are an accredited Waldorf program with over 35 full-time faculty members currently offering: two foreign languages, handwork, woodwork, instrumental and choral music, circus arts and spatial dynamics and a variety of seasonal extra-curricular activities, including a vibrant cross-country skiing program.
