City of Lakes Waldorf School seeks a lead Kindergarten Childhood Teacher for the 2017-18 school year. The teacher will be responsible for providing a Waldorf Early Childhood education to our young students. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Waldorf Early Childhood educator who has completed a bachelor’s degree and a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher certificate program. A love of children, a deep understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy, and a demonstrated capacity to work well with parents is required. The teacher must work collaboratively within the school as a whole, and within the Early Childhood program, which consists of Parent/Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten classes.

Qualifications and Benefits
Ideal candidates are Waldorf trained teachers with a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of teaching experience, a love of children and a commitment to working out of anthroposophy. Full time teachers enjoy a competitive salary and generous benefits that include health, retirement, tuition remission, mentoring and financial support for professional development. We offer a base salary of $40,000 with increments for teaching experience and education.
