Enrollment Coordinator
Reports to: Community Development Manager and Faculty Chair
Full/Part Time: Part-Time, non-exempt


Duties and Responsibilities
The Enrollment Coordinator executes admissions, enrollment and re-enrollment in all of its facets - outreach and recruitment, educating prospective families about Waldorf education and WSSL, guiding families through the admissions and enrollment process, and managing re-enrollment of current families. The Enrollment Coordinator works with colleagues to increase the number of students enrolled at WSSL.  

• Act as the principal point of contact between prospective families and WSSL. Field all questions from prospective families via phone, email or in person. Make every effort to respond to all communications within 24 hours. Provides informative marketing and press materials to prospective families.
• Able to articulate with clarity and enthusiasm information about Waldorf education and its benefits, The Waldorf School of St. Louis programs, what makes Waldorf education unique, how academics are presented in Waldorf schools, and the experience of students when they leave WSSL.
• Oversee admissions and enrollment, as well as monitor retention. Prepare regular reports for review by WSSL Board.
• Direct parents through the admissions process, including the initial interview, and accepts students into WSSL. Work in collaboration with faculty to ensure that all admission procedures are followed. Prompt exit interviews when a family leaves.
• Collect, process and track all admissions paperwork, including applications, payment, financial aid forms, immunization forms, etc.
• Plan and oversee the execution of all enrollment related events, including open houses and special events such as: talks on Waldorf Education, parent orientation, etc. Facilitates the arrangement of school tours, interviews with teachers (not home visits), and any observations.
• Initiate re-enrollment campaign each spring and provides periodic reports to the Finance Committees, Faculty, and the Board of Trustees.
• In conjunction with Outreach Committee, develop and execute a yearly marketing plan for WSSL to present to the Board in April. Orders advertising and marketing materials.
• Maintain student academic files and manages registrar requests.
• Evaluate and maintains all promotional materials and event displays
• Update the Website
• Collaborate with parent volunteers and faculty on Outreach efforts and is a member of the Outreach Committee
• Recruit and train volunteers for Outreach events
• Communicate enrollment and retention updates regularly with the Administrative Team and Faculty leadership
