Grades Teacher

Jul 14 2017 | Singing Stones | Walnut Creek, CA

Our growing school, Singing Stones, is seeking a grades teacher in alignment with our founding vision strongly rooted in anthroposophy. We value integrity and commitment to the principles of Waldorf Education and positive social change. We strive toward lifelong learning, and practice the deep inner work required of us individually.

Our school is entering its 7th year, currently located on 7 acres of beautiful open space in Walnut Creek, California. Our students enjoy Mandarin, Spanish, Biodynamic Gardening, Farming, Games, Handwork, Music, Eurythmy, along with the Arts.

We are committed to offering "Accessible to All" tuition to any family wanting a Waldorf Education for their children, based upon the Art of Social Conversation inspired by our late mentor Bob Munson.

Our ideal candidates will have completed, or be near completing, their Waldorf Teaching Training and be available to start in August. A Bachelor's is preferred, but not required of the right candidate. Our teachers must be open and loving toward families of all backgrounds, orientations, and inspirations. Our strong supportive faculty collaborates toward meeting the needs of our diverse community.

We offer a competitive salary, along with full tuition remission and aftercare for your children at our school. Professional development is strongly supported and expected of all of our faculty. Mentoring is available on site.

Please submit your candidacy via resume, references, and cover letter to [email protected] We look forward to growing with you.

Blessings on our work!
