Spanish Teacher

Seacoast Waldorf School is looking for a part-time Spanish Teacher for the 2017-2018 School year to teach grades 1-7.

• Native Spanish speaker and/or excellent language skills in Spanish
• Confident classroom presence; strong social and communication skills.
In addition to the knowledge and practice of teaching, our goal is have a teacher who is eager to bring the cultures of Spanish speaking communities into the classroom.
• Waldorf teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching Spanish to grade school age students
• Strong teaching, interpersonal, and student management skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Be adaptable; able to change work plan based on needs of particular class

Salary commensurate with experience.
Tuition Remission

We recently moved into a newly renovated building with 5 acres of land and woods. This year construction began on a new middle school building including classrooms and community hall. Our school is growing and thriving.
Seacoast Waldorf School is located on the beautiful coast of the southern Maine-New Hampshire border, only an hour from Boston, MA, Portland, Maine and the White Mountains of NH. The area we live in is rich in cultural and artistic activities as well as abundant opportunities to enjoy nature.
