Practical Arts Teacher

Seattle Waldorf School is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic Practical Arts teacher for the 2017-18 school year. This teacher will inspire students in Grades 8-12 in their study and development of artistic skills in a variety of mediums. Content areas include woodworking, stone carving and copper work with possible additional opportunities dependent on candidate skill and interest. Candidates should have experience in teaching middle and high school aged students in a Waldorf environment. Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree and/or Waldorf certification preferred.

Founded in 1980, Seattle Waldorf School has an experienced faculty who serve approximately 550 students in programs from Early Childhood through Grade 12. The school is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and a candidate school of the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS). Compensation
The salary for this position is commensurate with teaching experience. This position is benefit eligible.
