The Admissions Associate/Registrar is a detail-oriented administrative professional who manages multiple critical school databases, serves as a primary support to the Admissions Director, and supports the School Director as needed. This public-oriented position with front office responsibilities that presents a welcoming, positive, attitude to parents, students, and faculty.

Primary Areas of Responsibility: *Direct support to Admissions Director *Responsible for aspects of the admissions and enrollment processes, such as maintaining a schoolwide admissions calendar, coordinating and confirming RSVPs for weekly school tours, scheduling interviews and visits for prospective students/families, processing applications, preparing enrollment agreements for new and returning families, guiding incoming families through the admissions/enrollment process, creating registration and admission packets *Possible participation on the tuition assistance committee *Assist with outreach events such as Open Houses and annual Faires *Extensive work in database management including using current and historical admissions/enrollment data to generate reports *Maintain students’ cumulative files for current students, transfers, and new enrollees *Responsible for answering records requests and obtaining necessary academic records for all incoming students *Maintain current student immunization records and ensure incoming students’ compliance with State health guidelines by grade *Compile yearly report to Health Department and respond to periodic requests for information from State and/or county health agencies *Provide families with accurate information surrounding health and immunization requirements *Generate the school directory *Collaborate with faculty in editing and assembling student reports *Assist the 7th and 8th grade teacher and families with high school admissions materials *Support development efforts by tracking donations, pledges and thank you letters for the Annual Fund and Fund-A-Need *General support as needed to school leadership *Morning coverage including opening school, attendance, parent support, teacher support, emails and phones *Under the guidance of the Office Manager, provide first-aid, respond to student accidents & illness, help with emergency drills and evacuations

Skills Required: *Excellent word processing and database skills *Extensive knowledge of MS Word,Excel, Google Docs and Calendar, and Adobe Acrobat *Basic understanding of network administration *Prior experience in enrollment or school registrar/enrollment highly desired *Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills *Ability to prioritize assignments and work under multiple, overlapping deadlines
Other Experience & Attributes: *Familiarity with Waldorf Philosophy/school structure a plus *Must be able to maintain confidentiality *Professional and friendly manner *Able to work both collaboratively and proactively *Excellent grammar, writing, editing and communication skills *CPR/first aid proficiency
