Summary: The Business Manager's principle responsibility is oversee the finances and operations of the School. In addition s/he should promote and insure social partnership in the realm of rights and responsibilities, relevant to all school constituencies. S/he works closely with the Administrative Staff of the school to attend to the health and safety, administrative, fiscal, legal and practical aspects of the educational programs and school environment. In addition, the Business Manager is expected to support the governing bodies of the school and works with a true sense of service towards the faculty, staff, parents, and the board. The Business Manager is expected to ensure that the practical aspects of running the institution are in order at all times. S/he works to ensure that the school has the right policies and procedures and that these policies and procedures are clear and available to all and that all members of the community are held to consistent standards.

To that s/he is responsible to oversee an Administrative Staff that is composed of employees whose expertise and experience enhances the school’s ability to work in community and fulfill its mission. The Business Manager will provide regular reports to both the Board and Leader Group.


A successful candidate will:
Have worked in a not-for-profit accounting office for a minimum of five years.

Be timely, well-organized, able to effectively manage multiple projects, and have excellent communications skills.

Have a demonstrated commitment to collaboration, objectivity, relationship and consensus building as well as conflict resolution.

Have a demonstrated ability to set priorities and maintain accountability.
Have the ability to convert strategies into effective operational activities and achievements in a timely manner.

Have strong basic word processing and email skills.
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree.

Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.
