Waldorf School of the Peninsula High School Seeks Part Time Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a Spanish teacher to teach 9th-12th graders for 4-12 lessons per week. Class size could vary from 6 to 24 students. Qualified applicants will have at minimum a four year undergraduate degree, a passionate interest in teaching adolescents, and enthusiasm for implementing a successful Spanish language program in our school in collaboration with other members of the Spanish department.

An excellent candidate will be Waldorf trained or interested in Waldorf education and its integration into their Spanish curriculum and will demonstrate good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills as well as maintaining an overall positive attitude. Collaboration with Waldorf School of the Peninsula administrative staff, colleagues, students, and parents is expected.

Our school has two beautiful campuses: Nursery through grade 5 in Los Altos, and grades 6-12 a few miles away in Mountain View. Our school is a full member of and accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. The school is also fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Compensation: $52/ lesson, or salaried depending on experience, commensurate with the configuration of the classes.
