Wilderness Educator

Join our farm-based wilderness expedition school rooted in progressive social and ecological practices. Our teachings are founded on connection: with each other and the world around us. Kroka's international group of guides and educators envision, design and execute programs that have consistent life-changing impact on children and youth. Our staff live and work in community and practice what they teach. They are visionaries, risk-takers, and role models. They are committed to mastery of their skills and to awakening consciousness and altruistic will in young people.

Contract Schedule: from April through October
Responsibilities: Educators will teach and support farm-based wilderness programs for highly motivated students ages 9-19 including:
Multi-element expeditions, including farming, adventure, sustainability and wild-crafting skills
Open water and ocean expeditions
Rock-climbing and caving, and expedition mountain-biking programs
Whitewater canoe (kayak and cataraft) paddling expeditions
Farm-based programs
Summer programs within Kroka's seven adventure schools (introductory, rock climbing and caving, whitewater paddling, open water, mountain biking, wilderness skills, rite of passage)
