Grades Teacher

Feb 10 2018 | Ocean Charter School | Del Rey, California

Ocean Charter School (OCS) uses a Waldorf Educational approach to teach common core standards in a public school setting. We have two campuses on the West side of Los Angeles located near Del Rey, California and we are preparing to break ground and build a brand new TK-8 campus in Del Rey to house everyone in 2020!

We are accepting applications for First through Eighth Grade teaching positions for the 2018-2019 school year and we welcome like-minded individuals interested in Waldorf Education to apply. OCS teachers practice looping, where they move with their class through the grades and remain teaching the same students for multiple years. We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability and flexibility to teach all grades, including the upper loop (6-8). OCS offers summer training to prepare teachers for the upcoming school year as well as additional professional development opportunities, mentoring, and a supportive working environment.
