Alumni Relations Associate
Rudolf Steiner School seeks an Alumni Relations Associate. The Alumni Relations Associate is a member of the Philanthropy Department and reports to the Director of Philanthropy. They will work closely with the Alumni Committee and the Office of Enrollment and Outreach to create and maintain alumni engagement. Our ideal candidate is a Waldorf alumni who is an energetic, results-oriented team player who will help to strengthen and foster the School’s relationship with Alumni through outreach and volunteer support.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Work closely with colleagues in the Philanthropy Department, Enrollment and Outreach Department and the Alumni Committee to strengthen alumni involvement and support
- Work closely with alumni volunteers to provide consistent and thoughtful support
- Assist with major alumni programs and events
- Coordinate with the Digital Media Manager to develop digital and mailed event invitations and other communication pieces as needed
- Serve as an advocate for alumni to maximize opportunities for engagement with the community
- Support young alumni outreach, including planning and implementing targeted activities, events, and communications
- Work with the Special Events Coordinator and Alumni Committee to create meaningful event programming
- Reunion Program Support: Help manage the coordination of Class Reunions by working closely with assigned reunion committees to drive participation and engagement
- Help search for and maintain accurate information in the School’s Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud databases
- Write content for alumni-directed communication
- Solicit support of the School; primarily the Steiner Annual Fund Support activities, initiatives, and events sponsored by the Philanthropy Department as needed
- Work frequently and effectively in Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to support various initiatives
- Perform other duties or projects, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have the following skills, abilities, and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years’ experience in Philanthropy/Alumni Support
- Experience with Raisers Edge and Blackbaud
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of WordPress platform
- Strong written and communication skills
