Grade 1 Class Teacher 2024-25

Portland Waldorf School is welcoming applications for a full-time Class Teacher beginning with Grade 1 in the 2024-25 school year. Successful candidates will enthusiastically engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues and the parent community to create an educational environment aligned with Waldorf pedagogy, our school mission, and program goals.

Bachelor’s degree and Waldorf teacher training certificate are required; preferred candidates will have Waldorf teaching experience as well. Candidates who are dedicated to Waldorf education, working out of Anthroposophy, and possess a love of teaching are encouraged to apply.

Salary range is $50,000-61,000 per year and is dependent upon education and experience. Portland Waldorf School was founded in 1982 and is fully accredited through AWSNA. We serve over 300 students from early childhood through grade twelve on a beautiful seven-acre campus in downtown Milwaukie, just 20 minutes from downtown Portland.
