Located in the Central Coast of California, we are fortunate to live in a rare, beautiful geography, ranking in the top ten for health and happiness in national surveys. A few steps off of campus, hiking trails and destinations in nature's playground can be found. Established 16 years ago, we have experienced healthy growth in recent years and now serve nearly 150 students, offering Preschool – 8th grade. We are a Member of WECAN and are a Registered Initiative with AWSNA. We are an energetic school with a creative, “can do” spirit. We enjoy a warm, collaborative atmosphere among colleagues, where playful joy scaffolds the good work we do together. Qualifications: Ideal candidates have either completed or are in the process of completing their Waldorf teacher certification, have experience leading a classroom, and a Bachelor's degree. Candidates with a pioneering spirit, a passion for spreading the gift of Waldorf education, a strong sense of self-direction, and a joyful spirit are appreciated. Applicants must be committed to self-development and excellence in teaching, collaboration and professionalism among colleagues, devotion to a nurturing and loving classroom environment, and responsibility to families and the greater community.

Salary range is competitive and scales with experience. We offer health benefits (medical, dental, vision), generous financial support for professional development, and full tuition remission to full-time faculty.
