School Psychologist/Social Work
Mountain Phoenix Community School is accepting applications for our School Psychologist/Social Worker for the 2022-23 school year.
The role of the School Psychologist / Social Worker is to provide a range of services for students who demonstrate difficulties with learning, academic achievement, social/emotional functioning, and behavior. They serve as a psycho-educational service provider involved in proactive, preventative activities, as well as responding to identified concerns. They provide services based on a combination of problem-solving, consultative, and direct service models.
Minimum Qualifications
Hold current CDE Special Services Provider license with a School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsement
DORA (Department of Regulatory Agency) license preferred
Training emphasis in Learning Disabilities / Professional Counseling preferred
Experience working and supporting students in a school setting
Special Knowledge/Skills
Commitment to the mission, vision, and the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education
Personal and professional commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion
Robust interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
Dedication to collaboration in working with administrators, faculty, staff, students, and caregivers
This is .6 FTE position and we offer a competitive salary with compensation for applicable years of experience, advanced degrees, and ongoing professional development.
