We are seeking a new lead teacher to join our middle school faculty beginning in the 2022-23 school year. We need a strong, professional teacher who is interested in joining our efforts toward school innovation in the areas of diversity and equity, ready to help reimagine our Waldorf school to create a more inclusive and equitable school program and environment.  

We welcome all applications, but our ideal candidate is an experienced teacher trained at an AWSNA-affiliated institute who has solid, demonstrated classroom skills working with grade school students, a deep understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy, and a serious lifelong commitment to anthroposophy and education. The ability to work with diverse learning needs would be a definite recommendation. A college degree is a necessity, and post-graduate studies are preferred. Nonetheless, we will always hire the candidate who best suits our students, our community, and who best aligns with our school’s strategic priorities.
