Friends of Willow Tree is seeking a part-time French teacher for the 22/23 academic year. 

LOCATION

Our community will welcome you to our friendly village in North County San Diego. The town of Fallbrook is an area rich in the Waldorf community, biodynamic farms, study groups, and close proximity to WISC (Waldorf Institute of Southern California). Our program serves a diverse population that might not otherwise have access to a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our French teacher will be responsible for teaching grades K - 8th. 

The French teacher is responsible for bringing a grade-specific curriculum in accordance with the methods of Waldorf Education. This includes preparing and teaching weekly lessons and assessing the needs of the students all while instilling an appreciation for the French language. 

Our French teacher will lead 8 group lessons Monday - Thursday with class sizes ranging from 12-18.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Waldorf Teacher Training *preferred but not required*
• Waldorf Class or World Language teaching experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree
• French native speaker *preferred*

START DATE

August 2022

COMPENSATION

We offer an hourly rate of $35/hr for a 9 -10 hour workweek (Monday – Thursday).
