Raphael Springs is a thriving initiative located in the Hill Country of Central Texas, with a community of dedicated parents and teachers. Founded in the fall of 2020, we serve students in Early Childhood – 8th Grade four days per week (Mon – Thur). We are a faculty of trained Waldorf teachers committed to the study of Anthroposophy and self-development. We are administering a traditional Steiner curriculum without the implementation of CRT or DEI. In addition, we value health freedom and do not require masks. 

Raphael Springs is seeking an Administrative Chair. This position is head of our Administrative Team and maintains oversight of the business office, strategic development, and community development to facilitate achieving administrative and operational objectives in service to RS's mission and values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Direct experience as a classroom teacher
  • Administrative experience in an educational or non-profit setting
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with public speaking
  • Demonstrated aptitude with office productivity software including Microsoft products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Waldorf teacher-training or Waldorf Admin & Leadership Training
  • Prior experience in Waldorf School Administration
  • Direct experience with supporting a Board of Trustees
  • Highly organized, with excellent project and personnel management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enrollment - Drive the process of students’ enrollment from inquiry to final registration.
  • Write and maintain the Faculty and Staff Handbook (in collaboration w/ the Faculty).
  • Write and maintain the Parents Handbook (in collaboration w/ the Faculty).
  • Drive the school-wide parent communications.
  • Drive the onboard of parents and teachers into SchoolCues.
  • Drive the Fundraising events and activities.
  • Drive and track the materials and supplies inventory (including per-class tracking of materials budgets).
  • Drive the purchasing of materials and supplies.
  • Manage the on-time payments of the Tuition Fees.
