Early Childhood Office Manager

General Statement of Responsibilities: The EC office manager is a part-time position working 8:15am–12:15pm Monday through Friday during the school year and full time for the week following the school year and the week leading up to the beginning of the next school year. This person will answer phones, act as a main point of administrative contact for EC families, and provide basic office support duties for the EC branch as well as aid the EC in maintaining and tracking progress for child care licensing. This individual will be responsible for the weekly grocery shopping for the Early Childhood and will occasionally need to step into a classroom as a substitute assistant. Given that our classes are often held outside, this individual should feel comfortable being outside with young children in all seasons and weather conditions. These duties should be expected to be part of the regular hours. Additional hours may be available if classes need subs.

Compensation and Benefits: Part time hourly position. Pay range is $18–20.00/hour commensurate with experience. This position is not benefits eligible.

Skills required:

● Excellent written and oral communication skills

● Organized and able to respond to a variety of office support needs with warmth and a welcoming attitude

● Comfort and experience working with children aged three to seven ● Ability to work as part of a team ● Basic computer skills, particularly with Google suite

● Attention to detail

● Flexibility and willingness to jump in as needed
