First Grade Class Teacher 2023-24
Cedarwood Waldorf School seeks a full-time class teacher for our 2023-2024 Grade One class. We are looking for a candidate who will enthusiastically engage students, work collaboratively with colleagues and inspire the parent community. We require a Bachelor’s degree and Waldorf teacher training certificate, and prefer candidates with Waldorf teaching experience. We seek candidates who are dedicated to Waldorf education, working out of Anthroposophy, and possess a love of teaching.
Salary is dependent upon education and experience, and is competitive with local Waldorf schools. Cedarwood Waldorf School was founded in 1997 and is fully accredited through NWAIS and AWSNA. We serve 240 students from early childhood through Grade Eight on a beautiful urban campus near downtown Portland. We offer a full Waldorf curriculum, with subject classes including eurythmy, handwork, instrumental music, practical arts, Spanish, Japanese, and games/movement.
