First Grade Teacher
Woodland Star Charter School is seeking a full-time First Grade main lesson teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Our beautiful grapevine-draped campus awaits you! General Class Teacher Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a California multiple-subject teaching credential, Waldorf training and teaching experience. These are important to us as a Waldorf Charter, however, if you feel you might be a good fit and those certifications are in process, please feel free to reach out to discuss what is possible. Our Lower School teachers need to be open to Structured Literacy Training.
Compensation and Benefits for Full-time Class Teachers
We offer a competitive salary (plus a little more for Spanish bi-lingual and postgraduate degrees) as well as medical, dental and state retirement benefits. Our school year calendar is designed for sustainable teaching and learning. We also offer priority enrollment for students of hired faculty members.

A competitive salary ($50,000 - $86,000 depending on training, education, and years of teaching experience)

Our sustainable teaching calendar includes the following breaks:
A week in October
A week for Thanksgiving
Two weeks for the Winter Holidays
A week in February
A week for spring break
Plus the usual holidays
