Pre-K/Kindergarten Teacher

Aurora Waldorf School is accepting applications for full-time Pre-K/Kindergarten Teacher. Due to increased enrollment applications, we plan to open a third multi-age, combined Pre-K/Kindergarten with 16 students aged 4 - 6 for 2023-24. Contingent on enrollment, this 1-year position, July 2023 - June 2024, could be extended. The position commences July 1, 2023.

This class will meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm. Hours for the Teacher will be 7:45 am–3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weeknight or weekend work for parent meetings and school activities. There are also weekly meetings and twice-yearly workdays, some of which may be later than 3:00 pm. Faculty workdays are at the end of August 2023 and mid-June 2024. School begins in September 2023 and ends in June 2024.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, current First Aid and CPR certification, Early Childhood experience, and Waldorf Early Childhood training or the willingness to attend training upon hire.

Benefits include partial tuition remission as a full-time salaried, in-person, school-year position. Interviews will begin in May 2023.
