Heartsong School is a private membership association dedicated to the holistic education of children in a living community with attentive, caring adults. We run programs that are deeply rooted in the requirements of human beings to thrive in relationship to themselves, their family, their community and this beautiful Earth. Inspired by indigenous teachings from around the world, and rooted in the teachings of Rudolph Steiner and Waldorf education, Heartsong provides psychologically informed educational programming for adults and children in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, White Salmon, Washington. 

Heartsong’s mission is to support families in the process of raising children to become free thinking, moral adults. We do this by providing a safe space of reverence and wonder within which children may grow and thrive in relationship to each other, adults and the natural world. We do this by learning in community with children, parents and beloved caregivers—head, heart and hands. This includes but is not limited to educational programing, community work parties, classes, parental support and seasonal festivals.
