A home-school in Central London. We are seeking a Waldorf Style Teacher to home-school two young students, brother and sister aged 4 and 6. Introducing some light reading, writing and maths is a requirement for the 6 year old.
Position Summary
The teacher will be responsible for creating a Waldorf play based program that encompasses all the principles and pedagogy of Waldorf Steiner .
The teacher needs to bring joy , warmth and depth through imaginative discovery and play , providing outdoor experiences and more for five days a week , four to five hours each day .
The program should aim to develop child led learning in order to nurture and stimulate the children’s creativity and interests.
Some emphasis on early literacy and numeracy skills should be in built .
The teacher would need to build a strong relationship with the family in their home in central London
