I am looking for a part-time homeschool teacher for two days a week, for my Second and Fourth grader, ages 7 (8 in December) and 10. I am using Live! Education as my main curriculum, and have many books and resources on Waldorf education. I am looking for a partner in my children's education while I get my master's degree.
I am looking for someone who will come to my home in Georgetown (half an acre, garden, chickens, soon to have goats) and stay with my children, teaching them according to Waldorf pedagogy while I am in classes. I have been teaching them on my own, but I want to make sure they are getting the most out of their education, and I may be taking a course in person next semester.
This would be a great job for a retired teacher or even a parent who wishes to bring their kids along while they teach.
