Little Gate Preschool is a licensed home based Waldorf program serving children ages 2.6 years old to six years. We are a large capacity program serving up to 14 children. We are located in Fair Oaks, CA ( Sacramento) 5 minutes driving distance to the Sacramento Waldorf School, and 20 minutes from Golden Valley Waldorf Charter School.
The classroom is located in it's own entity in a charming detached structure or cottage that sits in my spacious backyard. The garden is tree shrouded, with many fruit trees, foliage and a vegetable garden, as well as a playhouse, slide, swings and a sandbox. This lovely space makes it an enjoyable and peaceful place to work and enjoy the children in their imaginative play.
Many children who attend L.G have siblings that attend either of the two Waldorf schools, while many families choose L.G because it is traditionally Waldorf, not blended with other philosophies or educational modalities.
About my background: I am a Waldorf Early childhood educator, with a master's in Waldorf Education, a Waldorf teaching Certificate, a degree in Child Development and 25 plus years as a Waldorf educator, offering mentorship opportunities to early childhood educators.
