Prairie Hill Waldorf School was founded in 1987 and is a full member of AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America). We have 187 students from pre-k to grade eight, robust parent and tot classes and an outstanding faculty and staff. Our faculty is grounded in a commitment to anthroposophy, and we have an enthusiastic and supportive parent body and board of trustees. We are an established, thriving school offering a Waldorf curriculum.
Prairie Hill Waldorf School is situated on fourteen acres of land including gardens, fields, wetlands and small woods located in the beautiful Lake Country of Delafield between Milwaukee and Madison, WI. Our families come from many areas in southeastern Wisconsin and are part of a strong and growing anthroposophical community that supports several biodynamic farms and the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute. Also available in the area are a Lifeways Training Center, the Great Lakes Teacher Training program, anthroposophical medicine and a pharmacy, and many other opportunities.
We are committed to providing a healthy, beautiful and sustainable environment which supports the pedagogical mission of the school.
