Rise is an inspired Waldorf school, started 5 years ago in the beautiful mountain range of Chirripo mountains, in Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica, currently serving 25 families from around the world.

As we grow organically, we are preparing our school to grow into a full K–12 Waldorf school. At this important stage of development, we are seeking dedicated individuals who feel called to contribute their experience, presence, and commitment to the unfolding life of our school community, supporting its pedagogical, social, and human growth with warmth, clarity, and responsibility.

Our school community is situated at an elevation that brings a temperate climate of around 72°F (22°C) year-round. With two distinct seasonal rhythms, we experience the best of both worlds. And for those who miss the ocean, the Pacific coast is only one hour away.

Rise is located on 800 acres of forests, open landscapes, and a river that runs through the land - ideal for outer activity and inner renewal.

For daily needs and modern services, the city of San Isidro de el General, the second-largest city in Costa Rica, is just 20 minutes away.
