River Oak Charter School, located in the beautiful Ukiah valley, is looking for an educator commited to guiding children toward a life-long love of learning, creative thinking, and a responsible, sympathetic interest in the world. We serve over 240 students in grades K-8 with art, music, drama, storytelling, poetry, and crafts, woven throughout the curriculum. Our students learn with their heads, hearts, and hands, building on a foundation of creativity that grows with the child to balance imagination, critical thinking, and academic excellence. Waldorf Credentialed educators preferred, or teachers that are willing to attend a 2023 summer training and have a high interest in pursuing a Waldorf Credential or attend ongoing Waldorf education. Teachers who are willing to attend the summer training as well as a series of Waldorf trainings (and be mentored by a Waldorf instructor) should apply.
