We are performing our piece called, "Global Village" and also offering customized workshops for high school students about social media awareness.

How does online communication shape us? What does virtual reality offer, and how do smartphones and screens influence our daily lives? Through interactive workshops and tailored projects, participants explore topics such as social media, cyberbullying, gaming addiction, digital art, data privacy, hacking, and the challenges of being constantly connected. Contemporary, relevant, and designed to spark reflection and dialogue.

Created by Tanja Rudenko and Marthy Hecker, Global Village explores how smartphones and social media shape our daily lives. Blending eurythmy, voguing, hip hop, physical theatre, music, and video art, the piece invites audiences into the role of a smartphone user, blurring the line between online and offline. The result is a dynamic and distinctive movement language that brings this contemporary theme to life on stage.

"I invited Global Village to our school for both the performance and a week long project and was astounded to see how deeply reflective and engaged the 12th graders were while working with Tanja and Marthy. They enjoyed themselves thoroughly and as part of the project, they were integrated into the piece, culminating in two wonderful performances, an evening for parents and the community and a in-house performance for the other high school classes. This program speaks to the modern soul and my wish is that many more students can witness and participate in this artistic approach to a very relevant topic."
