SF family seeking a Waldorf-trained or Waldorf-knowledgeable nanny with past nannying experience and excellent references to care for our infant in our home.
The job spec:
-Hours: We're looking for 40+ hours a week, generally 8:30-5 pm. Starting as soon as mid-Jan or Feb if available.
-What we are looking for: The role is focused on standard nanny care and supporting the growth and development of our six month old son. We'd like to enrich our child with Waldorf principles and an intentional philosophy rooted in mindfulness and creativity.
-Partnership: Again, we are looking for someone with exceptional references and a track record building a strong and long term relationship with the child and family. Our ideal would be one nanny to carry us to preschool at age three.
-About us: We are two new parents in our 40s working full-time. Our son is our first and likely only child. Our family values are centered around empathy, learning, creating art and experiences every day, and supporting and engaging with another and our community. We are a playful family and try to use our time intentionally — we like to laugh, sing, read, and be goofy with our son. We are a no screen household outside work.
Expected rate is $28-30 per hour, with rate based on experience.
