About Singing Cedars School:

Singing Cedars School is a small, community-centered Waldorf methods school located in the heart of Fairfield, Iowa. It is a quaint midwestern town of about 10,000 people. Our school serves children from early childhood through 6th grade and offers a nurturing, creative, and holistic environment based on the principles of Waldorf education. Fairfield is the home to Maharishi University and has quite a diverse population, despite its small size. It also offers housing prices well under the national average and has no traffic!  Three cars at a stop sign is rush hour. It has a town square with free music in summer and First Friday downtown events most of the year.

Our campus is located adjacent to a large prairie, a forest and multiple ponds that freeze in winter. This access allows for daily forest walks and lots of access to nature and interacting with the elements year round.
