Your Island Lifestyle

• Accommodation: Stay in a fully furnished home close to Kauai’s pristine beaches and lush landscapes. A small stipend is also available.
• Flexible Schedule: Teach for just 2.75 hours a day, Monday to Friday, leaving you ample time to enjoy the island, pursue remote teaching roles, or relax and recharge.
• Typical Schedule:
• 9:00–9:30 AM: Prepare lesson plans.
• 9:30–11:30 AM: Engage the child in dynamic, tailored lessons.
• 11:30–11:45 AM: Reset the workspace and document progress.

Your Role as an Educator

• Inspiring Education: Deliver engaging lessons tailored to an academically advanced child’s needs and interests, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.
• Interactive Learning: Create a stimulating and supportive environment that challenges the child while nurturing their emotional well-being.
• Gifted & Talented Integration: Develop a custom curriculum that incorporates Gifted and Talented (G&T) teaching principles to further enhance the child’s learning experience.

About the Child

Passionate about music, dance, chess, LEGO engineering, and language learning, he demonstrates remarkable focus and enthusiasm for exploring his world. Qualifications

• Native or fluent English speaker; additional languages are a plus but not required.
• Experience teaching academically advanced or gifted children, with a strong ability to design and implement G&T activities.
• Familiarity with Montessori, Waldorf, or play-based/child-led educational methods.
• Proven ability to create engaging, personalized lesson plans.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to start as soon as possible (or no later than mid-January 2025) and commit to a minimum of 4–6 months.
• Criminal Record Check required.
