The Rise School is located in a stunning mountain valley in Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica,  about 2.5 hours from the capital, San José. Our new campus is being built and will be completed by August 2024. Our classrooms will be made with beautiful natural materials and all areas are meant to provide an open and natural place to learn, teach, grow and play. The warm climate allows us to integrate year round, significant daily time outdoors as part of our rhythm.

We currently have students from Pre-Kinder through 5th grade. The local diverse community has truly embraced our school as we had the majority of our students re-enroll from the previous year. English is the primary language in the grades classes. We teach Spanish in a bilingual structure in the pre-kinder and kinder group and as an additional lesson in the grade school. Our students and faculty come from different countries.
